REASI, MAY 14: On the initiative of the College Principal Dr. Preetpal Kour, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College, Dharmari organized an Awareness-cum-interactive session on Narcotics and Psychotropic substances as a part of monthly Action Plan under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. Ajay Kumar, who is also acting as NSS Program coordinator. In his lecture he highlighted the negative impacts of narcotics and psychotropic substances on the consumers and their family members as well as on the society as a whole. Further, he also emphasized on the role of youth in making India free from drug addiction and making India a developed nation by 2047.
The whole Program was organized under the guidance of the college Principal Dr. Preetpal Kour and supervision of NSS Program Officer, Prof. Ajay Kumar. Other staff members present on the occasion includes Dr. Shabeer Ahmed Taing, Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Prof. Balbir Kumar, Prof. Mohinder Kumar, Prof. Balwinder, Prof. Samiti, Prof. Tinu Bala etc.
