DC Doda inspects water treatment facility at Beoli Filtration Plant

DODA, MAY 17: Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, visited the Filtration Plant in Beoli (Doda) and inspected the working of Filtration Plant.

Accompanied by a team of PHE officials & epidemiologists, the DC Doda inspected the testing procedures. He interacted with the staff assigned the monitoring of the water quality at the Filter Plant. He stressed the need for strict adherence to highest quality standards and directed the officials to take immediate corrective measures if any discrepancies are found during testing.

The DC emphasized the importance of regular testing and monitoring of water quality indicators to prevent any health hazards due to contamination.

During the visit, DC Doda was accompanied by CPO, XEN PW (R&B) Doda, XEN PHE Division Doda, District Epidemiologists and other officials of PHE Department Doda.

Later, the DC also inspected the under construction site of the new DIET complex at Beoli (Doda). He asked to ensure completion as per set timeline.

The complex is expected to provide much-needed resources and facilities for the teaching community. He also inspected polytechnic college building construction. The inspection was conducted to evaluate the extent of the damages to the road leading to the complex and sought a report from the Engineering department showcasing necessary steps to repair and improve the infrastructure surrounding the college.
