BANDIPORA, JUNE 26: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora in coordination with Tehsil Legal Services Committee Bandipora and in collaboration with Education Department Bandipora today celebrated ‘International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ with the theme ‘Say no to Drug’ at Govt Higher Secondary School Arin Bandipora.
The programme was held under the supervision of Chairman DLSA Bandipora, Amit Sharma and guidance of Secretary DLSA Bandipora, Nusrat Ali Hakak.
The programme was inaugurated by Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary DLSA Bandipora along with Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Arin Bandipora.
On the occasion, the Secretary highlighted the importance and significance of the day and said that the day is observed across the country to raise awareness regarding the ill effects associated with drug abuse. She enlightened the students regarding the benefits of education to cope with sociological crimes. She further enlightened the students about laws against drug abuse.
In the end Principal Govt. Higher Secondary School Arin Bandipora thanked Secretary DLSA Bandipora for organizing such a fruitful awareness program in their institution.
The said program was attended by officials of Govt. Higher Secondary School Arin Bandipora, officials of DLSA Bandipora, LADCs, PLVs and Students.
