DC, SSP Ramban conduct thorough review of SANJY 2024 arrangements to ensure safety & comfort of Pilgrims

RAMBAN, JUNE 30: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, along with Senior Superintendent of Police, Anuj Kumar, on Sunday conducted a comprehensive review of the security, boarding, and lodging arrangements for Shri Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims at Lamber Banihal. The visit focused on ensuring that all necessary measures are in place to guarantee the comfort and safety of the pilgrims.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Banihal, Rizwan Asgar, Tehsildar Banihal, Imtiaz Ahmed and other concerned officers joined the inspection team.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner and SSP assessed the effectiveness of the current facilities and interacted with the staff to ensure smooth operations. They also took the opportunity to meet with the Yatris, gathering valuable feedback to address any concerns promptly.

The Civil and Police administration is committed to ensuring elaborate arrangements for SANJY 2024. By meticulously reviewing the security measures, we aim to provide a safe and seamless experience for all Yatris,” stated Deputy Commissioner Chaudhary.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, reinforced this commitment by highlighting the importance of robust security protocols to maintain a secure environment for the pilgrims.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the district administration is working diligently to ensure that Yatris receive the highest level of care and support during their pilgrimage.

Directing the Team to adopt a proactive approach, reflecting the administration’s dedication to the successful and smooth conduct of SANJY 2024, the DC said that the district will continue to monitor the arrangements and make necessary steps to ensure the success of the event.
