Muharram arrangements reviewed in Ramban

RAMBAN, JULY 01: Assistant Commissioner Revenue S. Harpal Singh today chaired a meeting of officers to review arrangements put in place for ensuing Muharram-Ul-Haram.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kamal Zadu, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Rajeev Gai, Executive Engineer JPDCL, Tasaduq Hussain, AD Fire & Emergency, Sahil Bandral, AD FCS&CA, Niyamtullah Sheikh, CEO MC Sudershan Jamwal and other concerned officers attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed different issues for the smooth conduct of Muharram. Threadbare discussion was held on arrangements like electricity, water supply, roads, ration, sanitation, Street lighting and Medicare facilities.

The ACR instructed Jal Shakti and JPDCL to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply. Besides, the health department was asked to ensure availability of healthcare facilities.

He asked the concerned departments to ensure that the arrangements pertaining to their Departments are put in place well in time.

Municipal authorities were instructed to ensure cleanliness in and around Imambargah Chanderkote. The Police and Traffic department was also asked to provide foolproof security and traffic arrangements during the Muharram days.
