Chairperson DDC Ganderbal discusses framing of District Capex Budget 2024-25

GANDERBAL, JULY 09: The Chairperson District Development Council, Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq today chaired a meeting to discuss the framing of District Capex Budget 2024-25 here in the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chairperson, District Development Council Ganderbal, Bilal Ahmad, District Development Council members, Chief Executive Officer, District Development Council (ADDC) Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Chief Planning Officer, ACD, District Officers, and other concerned stakeholders.

The meeting focused on reviewing the current Area Development Plan (DDC/BDC/PRI Grants) and discussing strategies for its effective incorporation into the upcoming District Plan 2024-25.

Chairperson Nuzhat Ishfaq emphasized the importance of aligning local developmental initiatives with the broader district objectives to ensure comprehensive and balanced growth.

She emphasized the importance of careful planning and transparent execution in ensuring these grants positively impact the socio-economic landscape of Ganderbal.

The discussions covered various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and rural development, highlighting the need for targeted interventions and efficient resource allocation.

The Chairperson expressed confidence that the finalized plans would pave the way for sustainable growth and equitable development in the district.

Chairperson expressed her commitment to fostering inclusive development and addressing the unique needs of different areas within the district.

She stressed the significance of community involvement and feedback in shaping development plans that reflect the aspirations of the residents.
