BUDGAM, JULY 24: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the progress of works under the District Capex Plan.
The DC emphasized the need for efficiency in the project lifecycle, exhorting officials to expedite the estimation and tendering processes within the shortest possible time.
He stressed on timely completion of all developmental works, so as to prevent any public inconvenience and to ensure optimal utilization of resources available.
The DC directed the officers to strictly adhere to the established timelines to ensure that all projects planned for the current financial year are completed within the stipulated period.
He underscored the importance of efficient tendering, optimal utilization of funds, and the timely & transparent execution of developmental projects.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Superintendent Engineer R&B, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, BDOs, Executive Engineers from all wings, AEEs, JEs, and Executive Officers of Municipal Committees.
