BANDIPORA AUGUST 03: As part of ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada, Municipalities across Bandipora on Saturday conducted a range of activities to promote cleanliness and improve sanitation in different areas of the district.
These activities included cleanliness drives, plantation drives, health checkups and other related activities to improve hygiene and foster a sense of civic responsibility among residents.
MC Bandipora, conducted Cleanliness of lanes and drains in Ward No:02,03 & 04 of Town Bandipora, cleanliness drive at Nishat Park, plantation drive at Eid Gah Kaloosa, and Health checkup of all officials of MC Bandipora including safiamitras.
MC Hajin also conducted Health check up of safaimitras besides sanitation drives at open air gym, children’s park and Jamia Masjid park.
Similarly MC Sumbal conducted cleanliness drive at Nand Kishore park and Degree college Sumbal.
EO MC Bandipora who is also holding charge of MC Sumbal and Hajin said that, as part of Swachhata Pakhwada cleanliness drives were carried out in all the three municipalities of district with special attention to the cleaning and maintenance of parks, roadsides, and other public areas to enhance the overall aesthetic and sanitary conditions.
