SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 04: The General Observer for 37-Shopian, Roohi Khan today visited Strong Room of 37- Shopian Assembly Constituency at Mini Secretariat Shopian in order to review the arrangements being made for commissioning of EVM/ VVPATs, to be done on 5th September ( Thursday), 2024 and assess other election Plans.
During her visit to Strong Room, General Observer asked for making proper seating arrangements for agents of political parties and contesting candidates on the date of commissioning of machines who shall be present for watching the entire exercise at the designated space.
Video coverage of the entire exercise of Commissioning, captured through CCTVs, installed at Strong Room shall be fed into LED Displays to be installed at the venue for each of the Constituency for the viewership of agents, advised the General Observer, Roohi Khan.
The Observer also reviewed the Layout Plans of EVM management and called for systematic and organised EVM Placement at the strong room for smooth conduct of process.
