Assembly Elections- 2024 Election Cell intensifies SVEEP awareness across Ramban District

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 05: To make the SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) awareness drive more vibrant and impactful, the District Election Cell Ramban, under the leadership of District Election Officer (DEO) Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized a series of events across the district to enhance voter turnout in the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024, scheduled on September 18, 2024 in the district.

The District SVEEP Team, along with Nodal Officer SVEEP 54-Ramban and Nodal Officer SVEEP 55-Banihal, conducted an extensive awareness programs at the Government Higher Secondary School Sangaldan, marketplace and surrounding areas of Sangaldan, including Harog and Chachawah. The events saw active participation from a large number of voters, teachers, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), and students demonstrating a strong community commitment to the democratic process.

These awareness activities were organized under the overall supervision of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Bikram Singh, who ensured that the programs effectively reached the target audience, encouraging informed and active participation in the electoral process.

The District Administration’s efforts reflect its dedication to ensuring a significant voter turnout in the forthcoming elections, thereby strengthening the democratic framework in the region.
