GCW Gandhinagar organises film making contest themed “Voice of Democracy”

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 06: As a part of SVEEP activities being held in view of Election to J&K Legislative Assembly, , the Electoral Literacy Club P.S.P.S Government College for Women hosted a short film making contest on the theme “Voice of Democracy”.

In all 8 students participated actively in the contest held under the aegis of Principal of the College, Dr. S.P. Saraswat. She appreciated the students for their zeal and innovative ideas presented in the films.

The event was judged by Prof. Rakesh Singh, Head, Department of Chemistry and Prof. Samriti Aggarwal, Head, Department of Zoology.

Winners of the event were Shivya Gandotra (First Prize), Simran Sharma (Second Prize) and Ayushi Sharma (Third Prize).

The program was coordinated by student coordinator Ayushi Sharma under the mentorship of teacher in-charge Dr. Rajni Khajuria. The occasion was also graced by Dr. Liaquat Jafri, Dr. Rahul Sharma, Dr. Jagmeet Kour Khajuria and Dr. Manmeet Kour.
