KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 19: A program focused on the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative was held today at GHSS Bhaddu in Billawar AC.
General Observer for AC-63 Bani and AC-64 Billawar A.M. Khanam, was the chief guest, while Returning Officer 64–Billawar AC Vinay Khosla, (ADC Billawar), graced the event as the guest of honour.
Students from three local schools—GHSS Bhaddu, KGVB Bhaddu, and MS Bhaddu actively participated in the event, delivering performances such as the Saraswati Vandana, a speech on SVEEP, a song promoting voter awareness, a message on environmental responsibility, and a street play (nukkad natak) on voters’ awareness.
Both the chief guest and guest of honour praised the efforts of GHSS Bhaddu in organising the event and delivered motivational speeches encouraging active civic participation.
The program was conducted under the supervision of Lecturer English Randhir Singh, with guidance from Principal of GHSS Kohag Mohinder Gupta and DDO of GHSS Bhaddu.
The event highlighted the importance of voter education and electoral participation, inspiring students and the community alike to take part in the democratic process.
