Assembly Elections-2024 Final Randomization of Polling staff for six ACs of Kupwara district completed

KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 29: In preparation for the upcoming General Assembly Election-2024 in Kupwara district, randomization process of polling parties for assembly constituencies of the district was completed on Sunday.
Under the final phase of Randomization, the polling parties were allocated to their respective assembly constituencies through a dedicated online Software JKEDIS as per the prescribed guidelines of Election Commission of India (ECI).

The Randomization process was conducted under the supervision of General Observer Trehgam, Kupwara, P. Hema Latha, General Observer Handwara, Pankaj K. Panday, General Observer, Karnah, Prakash Bindu, General Observer, Lolab, Tshewang Gyachho Bhutia and District Election Officer (DEO), Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan.

The randomization was done as per the guidelines stipulated by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
It was informed on the occasion, that all the prerequisites are being fulfilled as per the ECI mandate for smooth fair and peaceful elections in all six assembly constituencies of the district.

A total of 622 polling booths have been set up in Kupwara district for the upcoming assembly elections which will be held on October 1, under 3rd phase of elections.
Dy. DEO Kupwara, DIO NIC and others concerned were present on the occasion.
