DLSA Budgam organises Awareness program on JK Legal Services Act at GBHSS Budgam

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 22: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Budgam Tuesday organised an awareness program on the JK Legal Services Act at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Budgam.

The program, held under the guidance of Chairman DLSA/Pr. District and Sessions Judge Budgam and under the supervision of Nusrat Ali Hakak, Sub-Judge/Secretary DLSA Budgam aimed to educate students, staff, about their rights and responsibilities under the Act.

The program was attended by the school staff members, students, DLSA staff and Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA Budgam.

The Speakers emphasized the participants about the importance of the Prevention of Legal Services Act. The presentation given on the occasion not only informed participants about the legal framework of the Act but also highlighted the significance of creating a safe and respectful environment for all.

The enthusiastic participation of the students demonstrated their keen interest in learning about the Act. They actively engaged in discussions, raised pertinent questions, and received clear answers from the resource person.

The program served as a valuable platform for open discussions and interactive sessions, enabling students to clear their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the Legal Services Act.
