SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 23: The District Level Screening & Coordination Committee meeting (DLSCCC) was held today at Shopian in order to recommend the cases for compensation under SRO- 43 and sanction of ex gratia relief in favour of legal heirs of the victims.
The meeting was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Shopian put up five cases under SRO -43 before the committee for consideration. After thorough verification and screening, the committee recommended four cases for jobs/ compensation under SRO – 43 in favour of legal heirs of the deceased persons.
Besides, seven cases of ex gratia relief were submitted before the committee, out of which, six cases were approved by the committee for sanction of ex gratia relief for various cases of death, injury and damage of
property in favour of the applicants.
The meeting was attended by ACR, Shopian, Shakoor Ahmad Dar; SDM, Zainapora, Nisar Ahmad Wani; Addl.SP, Showkat Ahmad Wani; representative of CRPF Nitesh Kumar, DIO Showkat Hussain Ganie and other concerned officials.
