Arrangements finalized for National Unity Day celebration 2024 at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 30: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai chaired a meeting with officers from various line departments to review and finalize preparations for the National Unity Day celebrations, scheduled on October 31.

This observance marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, honoring his contributions to national unity.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan, Assistant Commissioner Development Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal and other officers.

The DC urged all officers to ensure comprehensive and timely arrangements for a smooth celebration. She instructed the Health Department to deploy doctors and an ambulance, equipped with essential medical facilities, for the event. CEO Municipality was tasked with maintaining cleanliness at the event site, while Jal Shakti Department was directed to provide a continuous water supply and JPDCL was asked to ensure uninterrupted power at the venue.
