Won’t settle for anything less than full statehood: Tariq Karra
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegram

Rajouri, Nov 26, : Congress leader Tariq Hameed Karra Tuesday made it clear that his party won’t settle for anything less than full statehood restoration, rejecting the central government’s alleged proposal to retain key departments.

Speaking at a public rally in Rajouri district on the 75th Constitution Day, Karra expressed concerns about the government’s intentions, stating that retaining vital departments would undermine the state’s autonomy.

“We won’t accept diluted statehood. Our stand is realistic, based on the Supreme Court’s decision and the aspirations of the people,” he said.
