RAMBAN, DECEMBER 20: The Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore campaign is progressing vigorously across Ramban under the aegis of Good Governance Week 2024 and under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.

On the second day of the campaign, a mega public grievance redressal camp was held at Gool, encompassing the participation of residents from Block Gundi-Dharam, Gool, and Sangaldan. The event brought together officers and officials from across the majority of government departments to address the concerns and grievances of the local community directly.

The program provided an open platform for people to present their issues to officials, fostering transparency, accountability, and a spirit of collaboration. A proactive approach was adopted during the event, with several grievances resolved on the spot, reflecting the administration’s dedication to responsive and efficient governance.

To facilitate the public, various departments set up stalls to register complaints and provide immediate solutions. Key officers, including Tehsildar Gool S. Harjeet Singh, BDO Sangaldan Anamol, BDO Gool Sadam Hussein and other senior officials, actively participated in the campaign to ensure effective resolution of the issues raised by the community.

More than 50 grievances pertaining to different departments were resolved on the spot, while remaining issues were escalated to higher authorities for prompt redressal.

People said that the Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore initiative has emerged as a pivotal effort in bringing the administration closer to the people, ensuring on-spot resolution of their concerns. This campaign stands as a testament to the district administration’s proactive approach in fostering good governance and enhancing the quality of life for residents across Ramban, they added.
