REASI, DECEMBER 27: A comprehensive two day training programme for Enumerators and Supervisors for baseline survey of Mission YUVA concluded, here today.

The programme was conducted at five locations across the district- Reasi, Katra, Dharmari, Mahore and Chassana.
The training was organized to ensure the efficient execution of the baseline survey for Mission YUVA in the district.

The training focused on teaching participants how to effectively use the designated survey app BSFMY for two key surveys: Household Enumeration and Survey on Existing Enterprises. The purpose of these surveys is to generate a detailed report to understand the needs and aspirations of unemployed youth in the district.

The session was chaired by the Additional District Development Commissioner Sukhdev Singh Samyal in the Conference Hall, who emphasized the importance of the surveys in identifying and addressing the challenges faced by unemployed youth. The ADDC highlighted that the data collected through the surveys will serve as the foundation for planning and implementing targeted interventions under Mission YUVA.

The participants were equipped with technical knowledge and practical skills to ensure accurate data collection. They were also briefed on the importance of ethical practices and maintaining the confidentiality of survey respondents.

AD Employment Annie Vaid said Mission YUVA aims to empower youth by addressing unemployment through skill development, enterprise promotion, and need-based interventions. The baseline survey will play a pivotal role in shaping the programme’s strategies and outcomes.

The training concluded with an interactive session where participants discussed their queries and received guidance to ensure smooth execution of the survey.
