DC Poonch reviews progress of HADP

POONCH, JANUARY 11: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal reviewed the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) for the financial year 2024-25.

The session included comprehensive updates from various departments involved in agriculture and its allied sectors, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

During the meeting, the concerned officer presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation, highlighting program registrations, approvals and ongoing projects.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for timely completion of expenditures, directing that all financial obligations be met by February 10.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the Chief Horticulture Officer to enhance the data quality on the DAKSH portal and urged the acceptance of more applications under the Kisan Samridhi Abhiyan. He also proposed for organizing a mega awareness camp to promote KSA initiatives.

Further, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the CAO to finalize targets under HADP within ten days and urged the concerned Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) to personally visit and boost application numbers for Kissan Khidmat Ghars.

In addition, the Deputy Commissioner set a target for Animal Husbandry officers to achieve objectives under the Bharat Pashudhan initiative within three days while maintaining a top rank at level 01 under HADP. He also directed the Sheep Husbandry Officer to improve the rank at the Union Territory level.
