VC DDC Kupwara reviews enrollment process of beneficiaries under PMAY (R)

KUPWARA, JANUARY 27: Vice Chairman District Development Council (VC- DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today chaired a meeting with Panchayat Secretaries and Surveyors at BDO Office Wavoora to review the ongoing enrollment process of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Rural (PMAY-R).

The meeting was held to ensure that the enrollment process is carried out efficiently and all eligible beneficiaries are registered under the scheme for the provision of affordable housing in rural areas.

The VC DDC highlighted the significance of PMAY-R in addressing the housing needs of rural populations and stressed the need for timely and accurate identification of beneficiaries. He emphasized the role of Panchayat Secretaries and Surveyors in ensuring that the process is transparent, fair, and free from errors.

He urged all stakeholders to work in close coordination to achieve the set targets within the prescribed time frame.

The Vice Chairman appealed to the people of Lolab sub division to contact the concerned Surveyors for registering their name in the PMAY list.
