SHOPIAN, JANUARY 31: The District administration, Shopian today accorded a warm and affectionate farewell to Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Shopian, upon his transfer.
SSP Anayat Ali; ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone; ADC, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz and other officers on the occasion expressed gratitude and appreciation to him for his leadership in ushering the positive change in district and extended best wishes to him for future.
As the DC, Shahid Saleem led district towards the path of development & prosperity while also achieving several administrative milestones.
During a farewell meet, officers highlighted his efforts which made a positive impact on the lives of the people in the district and increased efficiency in district offices.
Shahid Saleem has been instrumental in taking various initiatives and programs in Shopian during his short stint of five months as DC Shopian, including promoting socio-economic development, addressing the issue of drug menace, Free Civil services & NEET coaching, engaging youth in sports and competitive initiatives besides adopting innovative approach in the administration.
The farewell ceremony also was attended by other Officers & officials of District administration and police.
