Jammu: After public outcry over government’s decision to withdraw all posts sanctioned prior to October 2019, the Jammu and Kashmir unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Saturday appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to revisit the decision.
Speaking to media, Ravinder Raina, BJP UT president, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that he will talk to the administration on this issue and request LG to review withdrawal order of the posts which were referred to the J&K Public Service Commission and Services Selection Board before October 31, 2019 for recruitment.
“I feel that Jammu and Kashmir’s Lt Governor should review this issues,” Raina said, adding, “The LG must remain cautious of bureaucratic conspiracies.”
Earlier, Jammu & Kashmir government has withdrawn all the posts referred to the Public Service Commission (PSC) and Services Selection Board (SSB) before October 31, 2019, for which selections have not been finalized till date.
In a communiqué, the General Administration Department has informed the PSC and SSB that the administrative council has decided to withdraw all the posts referred to PSC and SSB before 31. 10. 2019 for which selections have not been made till date.
“All posts referred to JKPSC/SSB prior to 31.10.2019, for which selections have not been finalized till date, as also the posts in which there are litigations and the cases are pending in Hon’ble court shall be deemed to have been withdrawn with immediate effect ,” reads the decision of administrative council.
