REASI, FEBRUARY 3: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi, Nidhi Malik chaired the district-level committee meeting to finalize beneficiaries for varied components of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP). Emphasizing the need for extensive outreach, the DDC directed officials from the Agriculture and allied department to ensure that at least 35% of eligible applicants are covered under the scheme. She stressed the importance of reaching every household and motivating the farmers to take advantage of the program’s benefits.

To enhance farmers’ skill development, the DDC instructed officers to enroll a maximum number of farmers on the Daksh Kissan program and ensure the successful completion of their training. Additionally, she directed officials to register every family under KKGs to facilitate better access to agricultural schemes and resources. Coordination between various departments and financial institutions was also emphasized to ensure seamless implementation.

The DDC urged Heads of Departments (HODs) to hold internal meetings with their teams and assign area-wise targets to boost application numbers under the HADP. She reiterated that effective teamwork and strategic planning would be key to maximizing the scheme’s impact, ultimately benefiting the farming community and strengthening the district’s agro-economy. ADDC Reasi Sukhdev Samyal, CPO Narinder Kumar, CAO, CHO, CAHO were present.
