POONCH, FEBRUARY 03: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal today reviewed the grievances redressal mechanism, particularly the status of those received on JK Samadhan Grievance Web Portal.

Chairing a meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of addressing pending grievances and ensuring timely disposal. He directed all officers to prioritize clearing any backlog on the portal and to facilitate the registration of citizens.

The Deputy Commissioner also mandated a thorough quality check on grievance disposals, highlighting the need for transparency and efficiency in public service. He reviewed the actions taken by various departments in response to citizen complaints submitted through the Samadhan portal.

To further support this initiative, all departments were urged to actively engage with the public, raise awareness about the JK Samadhan portal, and assist citizens in the registration process.

The meeting saw the participation of key officials, including ADC, Additional SP; ACR; ACD; ACP; DFO; DSWO; CMO; CAO; CEO Education; CEO Municipality; Executive Engineers; Tehsildars; AD FCS & CA; Inspector MVD, besides some joining via virtual mode.
