REASI, FEBRUARY 05: An Awareness programme was organised by Khadi & Village Industries Board Reasi today at Dera Baba Kanjli to educate the general public about the benefits of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme and Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme.
The twin schemes offer easy loan facilities through recognized financial institutions for self employment and self entrepreneurship.
District Officer KVIB Narayan Dass, while addressing the public, informed that new ventures of manufacturing, services and trading sectors can be opened under PMEGP & JKREGP with a provision of attractive subsidy and technical support. He also sensitized the participants about procedures and various formalities required for registration and uploading of application forms for availing the benefits of the schemes (PMEGP & JKREGP).
The camp was attended by Nirmal Devi (DDC Member), Sukhdev Singh Ex. Sarpanch Panchayat Kanjli, Saleem Khan (Panch), Ram Rattan (Panch), Satpaul (Social Worker) Maya Devi (Panch) and Anita Devi Member Panchayat.
