DC discusses modalities for seamless implementation in Poonch district

POONCH, FEBRUARY 25: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting with the members of the SBDH and BHD committees to discuss their role and responsibilities in the context of the Mission YUVA project.

A comprehensive and detailed presentation was shared with the members, outlining the specific roles and duties of each member.

The Deputy Commissioner guided the committee members through a detailed PPT, ensuring that everyone clearly understands his individual responsibilities. The personalized approach helped to clarify expectations and facilitated a deeper understanding of the tasks at hand. “A clear comprehension of responsibilities will ensure a smooth and efficient execution of the Mission YUVA project,” he added.

Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner directed that each Yuva Doot will be provided identity cards after filling all the details of their selection as per the Yuva Doot Document. “Each of them will be allotted a panchayat, ensuring that the next steps can be taken as per the project.

Participants included Officers from RDD Agriculture, Labour & Employment, Banks, NABARD, NRLM, JKEDI, ITI, the institutional heads of Government Degree Colleges Mandher, Poonch, Surankote, besides CEO.

In addition, Block development officers, who joined virtually, were directed by the DC to identify the names of employees who had previously worked well in the baseline survey for the appointment as Yuva Doots.
