JAMMU, FEBRUARY 28: In order to preserve the sacred ghats and clean them after the mammoth human gathering in Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, Transport Minister, Satish Sharma, today flagged off a special bus service from Jammu to Prayagraj to clean the sacred ghats.
While speaking on the occasion, the Minister laid stress on the importance of maintaining hygiene in our surroundings irrespective of special occasions. He said that cleanliness drive will be held at various locations of Mahakumbh venue especially ghats for keeping them free from garbage.
The Minister appreciated the efforts of JKRTC, who not only started a special bus service to Prayagraj but also took the noble initiative to clean the ghats after the Maha Kumbh is culminated.
