Electrification of unelectrified areas of Gurez: DC Bandipora chairs meeting on Kanzalwan-Tulail Transmission Line

BANDIPORA, MARCH 04: In order to discuss the progress and plans for Kanzalwan-Tulail transmission line and other related issues for electrification and grid connectivity of unelectrified areas of Gurez, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Tuesday chaired a meeting of concerned officers.

The meeting was informed that for electrification of Tulail area of Gurez Sub Division and extending Grid connectivity to Tulail, Civil Work of Kanzalwan receiving station has been successfully completed.

It was given out that the under construction receiving station at Sheikpora Tulail will benefit around 22 villages and will cover around 2600 households in Tulail area.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed the importance of enhanced coordination among various stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the project and resolve any arising issues on priority.

He asked the concerned to ensure resolving any logistical or technical challenges swiftly to prevent any disruptions in the progress of the electrification work.

The meeting was attended by SE KPDCL, SE Projects North, CPO, Executive Engineers of PDD, Officers from Beacon and other concerned.
