BANDIPORA, MARCH 13: with an aim to educate students about the perils of drug abuse and promote a drug-free society, an awareness programme on Drug Abuse was today organized at Government Degree College (GDC) Sumbal.
The programme held under the patronage of principal GDC Sumbal, Prof.Dr. Shabeena Iqbal Shawl, aligned with the broader objectives of the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’.
The event was led by Manzoor Ahmad Parey Convener Nasha Mukt Bharat committee.
In his address Manzoor Ahmad highlighted the devastating effects of drug addiction on individuals, families, and society at large.
He deliberated on the critical role of education and community involvement in preventing drug abuse, urging students to act as ambassadors of change by adopting and promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles.
The event concluded with a strong call to action, encouraging participants to spread awareness and contribute to building a resilient, drug-free society.
