RAMBAN, APRIL 18: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban successfully conducted an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) today at Haldru Batote.
The program was coordinated by Faculty, SBI RSETI Ramban Rakesh Kumar, and witnessed active participation from aspiring entrepreneurs, local youth, and community members.
The primary objective of the program was to create awareness about self-employment opportunities, highlight the training programs offered by SBI RSETI Ramban, and provide detailed information on various Government Sponsored Schemes (GSS) available to support budding entrepreneurs.
During the session, the Faculty gave a comprehensive overview of the free skill development training programs conducted regularly by SBI RSETI in sectors such as agriculture, animal husbandry, tailoring, computer education, retail, and service sectors. He also emphasized the importance of skill enhancement, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial mindset in today’s competitive environment.
Special focus was given to Government Sponsored Schemes like PMEGP, JKREGP, and MUDRA Yojana, under which eligible youth can avail financial assistance and support to set up their own micro-enterprises. The eligibility criteria, application process, and subsidy components were explained in detail to the participants.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants cleared their doubts regarding training courses, bank linkages, and the process of availing assistance under government schemes.
SBI RSETI Ramban continues its mission to empower rural youth by providing quality training and handholding support to transform them into successful entrepreneurs.
