SHOPIAN, MAY 14: As part of its ongoing efforts to boost the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, District Industries Centre (DIC) Shopian today conducted a programme on formalization of MSMEs under RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) for block Ramnagri at the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Ramnagri.
The event was attended by a diverse group of over 75 participants from handicrafts, SHGs, MSMEs, traders, entrepreneurs, etc.
Programme aimed to create awareness around Udyam Registration and facilitate access to various Government support schemes for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
The session commenced with a detailed presentation highlighting the Udyam Registration process, its benefits, and the role it plays in formalizing and strengthening MSMEs. The importance of aligning with flagship Government schemes was emphasized, showcasing how such initiatives can drive business growth and sustainability.
Speakers from District Industries Centre Shopian engaged with the audience, offering insights, importance of Udyam in availing various Government schemes. They encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to make the most of available platforms and support systems.
