Preparations to elect management committees of Cooperative Societies start in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MAY 21: A meeting regarding to review preparedness for elections to elect the Managing Committees of Cooperative Societies in District Kishtwar was held today in the office of the Assistant Commissioner (Rev) Mohammad Idrees Lone, who is also the Election Authority for Cooperative Elections 2025.

The meeting was attended by the Dy. Registrar Cooperative Societies Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal, all Returning Officers (BDOs of Kishtwar, Paddar, Inderwal, Marwah, and Dachhan), Assistant Registrars Cooperative Societies of all blocks, Election Naib Tehsildar and other officials.

After detailed discussion on arrangements for the smooth conduct of the elections, the Officers were briefed about their role and responsibilities in the election process. Necessary directions were issued to the concerned officers to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. The ACR emphasized strict adherence to election guidelines and timelines.
