DODA, MAY 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh conducted a comprehensive review of the functioning of the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Training (ANMT) School at meeting held today in the mini conference hall DC office complex.
The review meeting was held to assess the status of the institution and to ensure better training facilities for nursing students.
Key issues discussed during the meeting included the infrastructure status of the ANMT School, staff position, and the ongoing development of the Nursing College. The DC instructed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to depute doctors as guest lecturers to support academic activities.
Later, the DC visited to the ANMT School campus and interacted with the students to understand their concerns and needs. The interaction focused on improving the learning environment and addressing any gaps in academic support and facilities.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Medical Officer, Deputy CMO, Chief Accounts Officer GMC Doda, Medical Superintendent, Epidemiologist, Principal of the ANMT School, and the Assistant Director Planning GMC Doda, among others.
The DC emphasized coordinated efforts among all departments to ensure quality training and overall improvement in healthcare education in the district.
