JAMMU, OCTOBER 19: Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary extended warm greetings to students, parents and the teaching fraternity on the occasion of Dussehra.
In his message, the Director said that Dussehra symbolises the triumph of truth over falsehood, humility over arrogance and righteousness over wrongdoing. He observed that while the burning of Ravana signifies victory over evil, the festival’s deeper message lies in overcoming the evil within through integrity, compassion, discipline and ethical conduct.
Emphasising the role of education in character building, Dr. Chowdhary said that schools must nurture values alongside knowledge and inspire students to translate moral teachings into everyday practice.
He wished everyone a happy and peaceful Dussehra and expressed hope that the festival would motivate the younger generation to pursue excellence while remaining rooted in humanity and ethical values.
