SHOPIAN, JUNE 13: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone today chaired a meeting of officers to review the preparations for the rollout of National level tribal development program of Dharti Aaba Janbagidhari Abhiyaan starting from June, 15.
The program shall be inaugurated on June, 15 in Kathohalan village of the Keller area and will be attended by different departments who will set up stalls for scheme awareness, on-spot registrations and enrollment under schemes meant for tribal development and welfare.
ADDC reviewed department wise action plans of all departments and asked for putting up arrangements well in advance for the impactful and result oriented program.
The abhiyaan shall run from June 15 to 22 in Kathohalan village and from June 23 to 30 in Pehlipora village of Keller block.
The focus of the abhiyan shall be the cent percent coverage and saturation of at least 25 interventions across 17 Ministries of the Government. On-spot demonstration of best practices, enrollment for various services and spot service delivery along with awareness of government programs meant for tribal empowerment shall be held.
The meeting was attended by various district and block officers assigned with the responsibilities related to the event.
