UDHAMPUR, JUNE 20: In a continued effort to ensure inclusive development and empower tribal communities, District Administration Udhampur, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, organized two day special awareness camp at Panchayat Pachote in Block Chenani under the aegis of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the tribal community and representatives of various line departments. Multiple government departments installed awareness stalls to educate the tribal population about flagship Government schemes and welfare programs.
The objective of the camp was to sensitize the tribal population about their entitlements, facilitate on-the-spot registration and enrolment for various schemes, and promote holistic development of the tribal community through an array of services.
