KISHTWAR, JULY 01: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma convened a meeting to review the status of the JK E-Sehat App—a unified digital platform aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.

The CMO Kishtwar Dr. Rajinder Kumar briefed the DC on the current registration figures in the district.

To accelerate implementation, the DC directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to ensure immediate registration of their government employees, and instructed the Health Department to deploy dedicated staff for mass registration, including the general public.

SDMs were also tasked with ensuring the rollout at the sub-divisional and tehsil levels.
The JK E-Sehat App provides a wide range of services including tele-consultation, appointment booking, access to health records, AI-based symptom checking, medication reminders and integration with wearables.

It supports both public and private healthcare access and includes features for patients, healthcare professionals and medical students—such as academic resources, e-prescriptions, secure messaging, ambulance services, insurance scheme information and skill development modules like CPR and BLS training.

The DC stressed the importance of ensuring widespread adoption of the app to improve healthcare access, especially in remote and underserved areas.

The meeting was attended by CMO Kishtwar Dr Rajinder Kumar, MS DH Kishtwar Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, BMOs, DMEO (NHM) Manoj Sharma besides other concerned staff.
