Awareness cum 100 % saturation camp under DAJGUA held at village Dhar- Ghaddian

UDHAMPUR, JULY 07: As part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan, awareness cum 100% saturation of Government schemes camp was successfully organized today at Village Dharghaddian, Panchayat Pakhlai, Block Sewna.

The camp was attended by BDO Sewna, Jasreen Kour, officers and officials besides members of the tribal community.

The camp was held under the overall supervision of Programme Officer Poshan Subhash Chander who graced the occasion as the chief guest. He sensitized the local tribal population about various flagship government welfare schemes. He emphasized the commitment of the administration towards ensuring the socio-economic upliftment of tribal communities through saturation of key benefits and documentation services.

During the camp, domicile and ST category certificates were distributed among the eligible tribal beneficiaries, thereby ensuring their access to widespread public welfare schemes. The Health Department, in coordination with Ayush conducted TB sputum sampling and distributed free medicines to the villagers present in the camp.

In order to educate the public about global warming, the representatives of the Forest department launched a plantation drive and sensitized the public about the importance of Forest cover. The camp concluded with a plantation drive, symbolizing collective efforts towards environmental conservation and community participation.

Officials from various line departments also participated in the camp and provided on-the-spot services and information to the locals. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of the tribal population for mitigating their problems.
