UDHAMPUR, JULY 8: The ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan culminated today in Panchayat Krimachi under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai with a series of impactful events and public outreach activities aimed at empowering the tribal population through access to government welfare schemes.
GM DIC Udhampur Kishore Singh Katoch was the chief guest on the occasion.
On the concluding day, a vibrant awareness campaign was held to sensitize members of the tribal community about various flagship schemes of the Government, designed to uplift socio-economic standards and ensure inclusive development.
Officials from multiple departments participated actively, sharing information, resolving queries and extending on-the-spot assistance to the beneficiaries.
A health camp was also organized during the event to provide quality medical care to the tribal populace. The Department of Ayush played a key role in the initiative by distributing free medicines and offering consultations on preventive health and traditional wellness practices.
In addition to these services, a special grievance redressal camp was set up where scores of public issues were addressed and resolved promptly by the officials concerned.
