NOWSHERA, AUGUST 20: On the directions of Director Employment (MD Mission YUVA J&K) Shahzad Alam, a full day awareness camp was held today in the Auditorium of Government Degree College, Nowshera.
The awareness camp was held under the supervision of Joint Director Employment S. Paramjeet Singh and Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Dr. Pritam Lal Thapa. The event saw large participation from the public, social activists, and YUVA Doots of the Municipal area, block Nowshera, Qilla Darhal, Seri and Lamberi of the Sub Division.
The awareness programme was aimed at educating the general public of Nowshera about Mission YUVA features, schemes and benefits thereof. During the programme, the public was made aware of every aspect of Mission YUVA, including eligibility criteria, benefits and various schemes such as Nano Enterprises, Creation of New MSMEs and Acceleration of Existing Business units.
A walk-through of Mission YUVA application was also conducted for the participants by Deputy Director Employment Rajouri, demonstrating the process of downloading and filing applications, using the DPR Repository, accessing videos of successful entrepreneurs, and utilizing videos for skill upliftment. Additionally, an orientation session was held for YUVA Doots of the area to empower them with the knowledge of Mission YUVA.
Joint Director Employment emphasized the importance of availing the benefits of Mission YUVA by the public and stressed on creating an ecosystem of entrepreneurship in the Nowshera Sub Division. The event was well-attended and marked a significant step towards promoting entrepreneurship and employment opportunities in the region under Mission YUVA. In the afternoon, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Ramkesh Sharma and GDC Principal Prof. Shamim Ahmed Azad also joined the programme, who also highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship.
During the full day camp, the participants were also addressed by J&K Bank Officers. The queries were also addressed by the senior officers. YUVA Doots were directed to maximize the holding of Panchayats/Municipal Ward level awareness camps for greater participation of the public in the Mission YUVA.
