KUPWARA, JULY 28: In a bid to address public concerns, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi, today paid a visit to the NTPHC Behnipora.
The primary agenda of the visit was to look into the grievances raised regarding the hospital’s closure on Sundays.
During the visit, ADC conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the institution’s operational framework. Taking note of the concerns, he issued directives to the concerned authorities, emphasizing the need for uninterrupted healthcare services to ensure smooth functioning of the hospital. He also directed for enhancing patient care, particularly for those relying on the NTPHC for treatment and preventive healthcare services.
Later, ADC conducted a surprise inspection of Government schools in the area, including Government Higher Secondary School Behnipora, UPS Behnipora, focusing on staff attendance and overall institutional functioning.
ADC checked attendance records, observed classroom activities, and interacted with students and staff to gauge the schools’ operational efficiency.
