KISHTWAR, MARCH 31: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal, who is also the Returning Officer (RO) for AC 49 Kishtwar, today conducted comprehensive inspection of several polling stations in Block Thakrie here ahead of elections to Udhampur- Doda -Kathua Lok Sabha constituency.
The ADC assessed the provision of Assured Minimum Facilities in polling stations Darbadan, Upper & Lower Philler, Pakalan and Sranwan of the Block.
The importance of accessibility for differently-abled and elderly voters was emphasized to facilitate their participation in election process.
The visit concluded with instructions to concerned departments to redouble their efforts to ensure smooth conduct of Lok Sabha Elections in the district.
