The event took place at the DC Office Complex in the presence of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Umesh Shan, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Anil Manhas and District Tuberculosis Officer, Dr Anil Saloch.

The initiative aimed to provide vital nutritional support to TB patients, emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet in enhancing immunity and aiding faster recovery.

During his interaction with the patients, ADC highlighted the need for consuming hygienic food and adhering to prescribed precautionary measures to combat the disease effectively. He also stressed the importance of public awareness and community participation in eradicating TB from the district.

The ADC called upon the officers of the Health Department to intensify efforts and ensure strong inter-departmental coordination to achieve the goal of a TB-free Udhampur.
