ADDC Pulwama discusses Scale of Finance plan for 2022-23 at DLTC meeting

PULWAMA: The Additional District Development (ADDC) Commissioner, Pulwama, Dr Sheikh Abdul Aziz today chaired the meeting of District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) to finalize the Scale of Finance for the year 2022-23 for Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture and other allied sector Crops at DC Office, here. The meeting held threadbare discussion to determine and fix the Scale of Finance for providing short term loan to the farmers in the shape of Working Capital for maintenance, fodder, fertilizer, pesticides, labour and manure etc for growing the crops in their field. Addressing the meeting, the ADDC stressed upon the officers of line departments and bankers to ensure utmost accuracy in formulation of scale of finance component wise so that the farmers are facilitated properly. On the occasion, economic potential of different varieties/ products related to agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and floriculture were discussed for boosting the income of unemployed youth and farmers. During the meeting, the vital issues regarding the finalization of scale of finance of different Agriculture and Horticulture Crops were finalized by the Committee for Kissan Credit Card (KCC) holders of the district. The ADDC laid special emphasis on providing assistance to Apiculture, Mushroom, vegetable, fruits, dairy farming and sheep breeding to enhance the additional farm income of the farmers. Among others, Chief Horticulture Officer, CAO, CAHO, DSHO, DDM NABARD, LDM Pulwama, Assistant Director Fisheries besides other senior officers from the concerned departments and Banks were present in the meeting.
