RAJOURI, OCTOBER 10: Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri Malik Zada Sheraz Ul Haq today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the smooth celebrations of the upcoming Navratri festival in the district.
The ADDC reviewed arrangements related to traffic management, power and water supply, sanitation and cleanliness, market checking and medical facilities. He directed the concerned departments to ensure adequate arrangements well in advance to facilitate devotees and the general public during the festival.
He stressed the need for close coordination among all departments to ensure uninterrupted essential services, proper traffic regulation, maintenance of cleanliness and availability of necessary medical facilities. The concerned officers were directed to remain vigilant and ensure prompt redressal of any public needs.
Members of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha also attended the meeting and shared their suggestions regarding the arrangements for the festival.
Among the others present were ASP Koteranka Wajahat Hussain Kar; ACR Mohammad Jahangir Khan; Executive Engineer PDD Mohammad Javaid and other concerned officers.
Besides, ADC Ravi Kumar Sihag, ADC Kalakote Mohammad Tanvir, ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa, ADC Sunderbani Ramkesh Sharma, ADC Koteranka Dil Mir and SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain Shah also attended the meeting through virtual mode.
