RAMBAN, JANUARY 8: Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban Roshan Lal today chaired a meeting here in the Conference Hall and took a comprehensive sector-wise review of the developmental activities under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.

The meeting was attended by ACD Srinath Suman, CPO Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, ACP Ashfaq Ahmed, and all other District and Sectoral officers.

Emphasizing the importance of timely execution, the ADDC issued strict directions to Block Development Officers (BDOs) to ensure 100% expenditure of the MGNREGA material component and expedite tendering process for all sanctioned works.

The BDOs were given 2-day time to submit the lists for the distribution of solar lights in their respective blocks under PRI grants, ensuring convenience for the general public.

Expressing displeasure over the slow progress of SOS works, the ADDC directed the BDOs to accelerate efforts and achieve the prescribed targets within the stipulated time frame.

Additionally, the ADDC reviewed the progress of the flagship schemes of Health, Social Welfare, Industry, Revenue, Jal Shakti, and JPDCL. All concerned officers were directed to submit detailed reports of their achievements to be highlighted on public platforms.

The CPO informed the meeting regarding department wise status of progress and stressed upon the officers to achieve developmental milestones and ensure timely delivery of services under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.
