KULGAM, FEBRUARY 28: A comprehensive review meeting of Mission YUVA was convened under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Altaf Ahmad khan today to assess the progress and strategize measures for further strengthening the implementation of the programme in the district.
The meeting was attended by the SDM DH Pora, Sub Registrar Kulgam, and other concerned district and sectoral officers.
A threadbare discussion was held regarding the physical and financial progress achieved so far under Mission YUVA, identification of bottlenecks, and measures required to accelerate the pace of implementation.
During the meeting, the ADDC emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among all departments to ensure effective outreach and timely disposal of cases under the scheme. Stress was laid on expediting verification processes, facilitating eligible beneficiaries, and enhancing awareness at the grassroots level so that maximum youth can avail benefits under the programme.
Officers were directed to intensify field-level monitoring, ensure prompt redressal of issues, and submit regular progress reports to this office.
The chair underscored that Mission YUVA is a vital initiative aimed at empowering youth through self-employment and entrepreneurship, and all stakeholders must work with dedication to achieve tangible outcomes.
The meeting concluded with a resolve to further streamline procedures and significantly improve the overall progress of Mission YUVA in the district.
