Srinagar: Reacting to the arrest of religious clerics from Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) those who are innocents will be freed soon.

Talking to the media persons on the sidelines of the function here, BJP General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), BJP will ensure that no action is taken against the persons who are not involved in wrong doings.

“BJP will ensure that action is taken against the persons involved in the wrong doings,” Koul said while reacting to the arrest of religious clerics in Kashmir and said that among the arrests, the innocents will be freed soon.

Pertinently, several Islamic clerics were arrested and booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) by Jammu and Kashmir for their alleged involvement in instigating youth.

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar had on Saturday said that several religious preachers booked under PSA were instigating youth despite being warned against it several times.

Kumar had said that they had warned these people many times, but they ignored them. “There are reports that some of the clerics are doing the same practice but soon after getting the proper evidence, they too will be booked,” he said—(KNO)
