UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 28: District Election Cell Udhampur under the supervision of District Election Officer Saloni Rai, conducted an voter awareness programme under the aegis of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program here in the Government Higher Secondary School Salmerhi.
Preeti Sharma, District Panchayat Officer and Nodal Officer SVEEP, was the chief guest while Narinder Mohan Suri, CEO Udhampur was the guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering, the Nodal Officer sensitized the students and staff members, emphasizing the critical importance of each vote in shaping the future of governance. She urged all participants to not only exercise their voting rights but also to encourage others in their communities to do the same.
The event also featured a thematic cultural performance and a Mehndi design competition. Following these activities, a musical chairs game was organized by the District Election Cell at the Sports Stadium Udhampur, where students and other stakeholders actively participated.
